Are you keeping your old monitor, keyboard... ect ?
If you are, 800 will build you a pretty nice PC.

LCD looks like shit too unless you play all your games in 1280x1024 which is retarded huge for shit like ffxi. wow looks great in 1280x1024 what im currently running.
like alin said tho, forget the monitor, spend a lil extra on the video card, memory, and 2 SATA drives in raid 0.
you can buy a motherboard with built in SATA Raid, all you need is 2 SATA drives
1x motherboard with SATA Raid 0 support onboard 2x SATA drives 1x GB / 2x512mb chips the fastest memory you can get for the motherboard 1x video card generic is fine as long as its ati or nvidia chipset plan on getting 2 steps under the best card & replace every 2-4 years, never buy the best one for 499-699 its a waste 1x case to hold everything with power supply 1x dvd or cd rom if you dont have one in the old pc or go writer
pricewatch.com is fucking sweet for component prices
