• I'm sure gear will be important, but AoC melee combat is much MUCH more skill oriented than in WoW.
  
• You're going to heave to "relearn your class" no matter what you pick in this game. The game, in my opinion, is so fundamentally different from what we've played in the past, that it warrants learning new tactics.
  
• Why do all these WoW morons think this is an expansion to that horrible game?
  
• first off, cancel your WoW account or put a bullet in your head, secondly, don't ever compare this game to WoW. WoW is a carebear raiding life-ruiner whereas AoC is a great MMORPG that encourages siege pvp and just badassness.
